look at the newest... my pretties
been in an artistic frenzy lately.
my two newest drawings will soon be submitted into a recovery-based art gallery in chicago, (note to self - deadline for submission august 17th). the mask is meant to depict the whole 'masks have got to go' saying i hear ever so often in the meetings. the white on black girl is me at the end, when i just couldnt take it anymore.
i am going to have some prints made up before i send off the originals to the gallery, because if they sell, i wont have them any more. i am kind-of sad about letting them go, i've never parted with an original before...with the exception of john's guitar. but, by selling the originals (which fetches more money than a print), i can put a little extra $$ in my pocket, helping me fuel my ever-growing need for more art supplies. :)
